The Nebraska Library Commission has awarded the Ainsworth Public Library a $1,000 Innovation Studio Internship Grant. This grant will pay a high school or college student to be assigned to assisting with activities associated with the Library Innovation Studio while the Makerspace is housed at the Library. The Makerspace was installed at the Ainsworth Library on November 14th and will remain at the library until the week of April 9th.
Morgan Osborn has been selected as the Intern at the Library. Morgan is a senior at the Ainsworth High School. She has been busy learning how to run all the different machines and has been doing one-on-one training with people. Morgan is very excited to be working with the Makerspace and to help others create with the Studio.
