Trunk and Treat on Main Street

The Ainsworth Public Library will be on Main Street this Friday, October 29th for the Trunk and Treat event. We will be handing out free books. You will find us next to the Ainsworth Chamber of Commerce Photo Booth in the mini park. Jen will be taking photos of the ghost and goblins for the Chamber. They are asking a donation for the photo which will go towards the expenses of the Imagination Library.

Hope to see lots of Trick and Treaters that would love to get a book!

BOOK CLUB TO RESTART

The Ainsworth Book Club will be starting another year of great reading and sharing on September 20th at 2 p.m. We will be discussing the title “One Thousand White Women” by Jim Fergus. The library has extra copies so stop by and check one out. Read it and join the discussion of this great book!

The story is based on an actual historical event but told through fictional diaries, this is the story of May Dodd–a remarkable woman who, in 1875, travels through the American West to marry the chief of the Cheyenne Nation.
