The Ainsworth Book Club will be starting another year of great reading and sharing on September 20th at 2 p.m. We will be discussing the title “One Thousand White Women” by Jim Fergus. The library has extra copies so stop by and check one out. Read it and join the discussion of this great book!
The story is based on an actual historical event but told through fictional diaries, this is the story of May Dodd–a remarkable woman who, in 1875, travels through the American West to marry the chief of the Cheyenne Nation.
