We are looking to replant the rose garden on the east of the library with a prairie theme – and we need your help! We’re looking for drought resistant and hardy plants you can share. Ideas so far have included ornamental grasses, ground covers, sedums, goldenrod, and other hardy perrenials. For more information, call 762-2234.
Turn your hobby into an online business! The library will be offering two FREE workshops on Etsy – an online marketplace for handmade items, vintage, and craft supplies.
Etsy I: Setting up Shop will be held Thursday, May 9th
& Etsy II: Special Features will be held on Thursday, May16th.
Both will be from 6-8pm in Community Room A.
Participants need to have good working knowledge of using the internet. A limited number of laptops are available for workshop use on a first come, first serve basis. Participants are welcome to bring in their personal laptops. Space is limited, and you may reserve you seat by contacting the library at 762-1387.

We will be offering Basic Computers Skills on Friday, April 19th from 10am-noon and again on Thursday, April 25th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. (rescheduled from the original date of April 18th due to a schedule conflict with the City Council meeting.)
A few seats are still available and may be reserved by contacting the library. The class will cover using a mouse, keyboard, windows, the internet, and email. If you or someone you know would benefit from this session, we’d love to have you!
