We are looking to replant the rose garden on the east of the library with a prairie theme – and we need your help! We’re looking for drought resistant and hardy plants you can share. Free Etsy Workshops!

Turn your hobby into an online business! The library will be offering two FREE workshops on Etsy – an online marketplace for handmade items, vintage, and craft supplies.
Etsy I: Setting up Shop will be held Thursday, May 9th& Etsy II: Special Features will be held on Thursday, May16th.Both will be from 6-8pm in Community Room A.Participants need to have good working knowledge of using the internet. A limited number of laptops are available for workshop use on a first come, first serve basis. Participants are welcome to bring in their personal laptops. Basic Computer Skills Class

The Alliance Public Library is proud to be part of the 90% of libraries that offer digital literacy training!
We will be offering Basic Computers Skills on Friday, April 19th from 10am-noon and again on Thursday, April 25th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. (rescheduled from the original date of April 18th due to a schedule conflict with the City Council meeting.)
A few seats are still available and may be reserved by contacting the library. The class will cover using a mouse, keyboard, windows, the internet, and email. If you or someone you know would benefit from this session, we’d love to have you!

Library Closed for 125th Birthday Party

The library, in addition to all city facilities, will be closed tomorrow from 3:45 to 5:00 to encourage attendance at Alliance’s 125th birthday party to be held at the YMCA.
We will resume operations at 5:00 until our regular Thursday closing time of 8:00 p.m.
