Adventure Book Club

Adventure book club is for anyone in 5th grade and older who loves to read OR just loves adventure. This is not your typical book club – we don’t just talk about the books, we live them! You can join the book club at any time; register at the circulation desk or simply come when we are meeting. Even if you haven’t read the book, you can still join in on the activity. The next month’s book will be available at each meeting; some may require a small postage fee.

The book for November is Escape From Mr. Lemoncello’s Library  by Chris Grabenstien. We will play a version of the game the children have to play in the book. The book is available on Overdrive as an ebook or audiobook, or can be checked out from the library.

December’s book is The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart. It will be available for checkout at the book club meeting on Nov. 13 or at the circulation desk. There will be a $1 postage fee. We will meet Monday, Dec. 11 at 3:45 for spy school!

January’s book is Running Out of Time by Margaret Paterson Haddix and is available for checkout at the circulation desk for $1.00 return postage. The activity for the month is a Breakout Lock Box where patricipants will work together to decipher clues, solve riddle, and answer questions about the book to figure our the combinations for the box and open it before time runs out.
