LEGO Club is open to students in kindergarten through 8th grade. The library provides LEGO building bricks, WeDo 2.0 software, and motors, so children can learn to design, build, and program simple machines that run via Bluetooth.
Children can come just to build with LEGOs or they can choose to join a team and participate in competitions at the library. For each competition, children will research a real-world problem, build a LEGO model, create a poster explaining their research, and present the model and poster to the public and judges.
