Arthur Library has just became a partner in Overdrive, a free online library. Some of you may know what this is already, but for those of you that don’t, it is a colaboration of libraries that provide e-books for their patrons with no charge. E-books are books that you can read or listen to electronically. You are going to need three things to read/listen to e-books. First, you’ll need a type of electronic device such as, smart phones, computers, laptops, tablets, etc. Second, you’ll need internet access(you will actually be downloading the book to your electronic device, so you’ll only need internet access when you are actually downloading the book or looking at the website). Third, you’ll need software. This will be easiest if you come in and I can help you with this part. If you’re a little more independent and feel you know what you’re doing you’ll just need your username and password to start. The website you will be going to is http://nebraska.lib.overdrive.com .
