Author Erin Foley is the daughter of James and Marcia Foley of Arapahoe. Erin studied journalism and photography at the Hillsdale College in Michigan, and graduated with a BA in Art in 2005. In 2011, she left the “American Dream” to pursue the life of a full-time volunteer in Australia with shorter term stints in Nicaragua, Papua New Guinea, East Timor, Spain, and France. She currently serves in Cambodia with a faith-based organization established to offer men and women rescued from the sex industry a fair-trade, job training, counseling, and healthy lifestyle.
