MORE FUN TO COME!

We still have till August 1st before summer reading is officially over!   Don’t forget to turn in your journals  (if you’ve misplaced them, come on in and use some of our extras!).   Here’s a look at our up and coming events:

1.  Teen Mystery Night – this Saturday, July 26th, from 7:00 – 10:00!  Teens in 6th – 12th grade are invited to be a part of “Murder & Mayhem – at the Teen Idol Awards!”   Costumes are encouraged (you could be a teen idol, a police officer, a member of the paparazzi, etc.) – but not required.  Come join in the fun – you might be the murderer!!!

2.  Jeff Quinn, the magician, will be with us at City Chambers on Tuesday, July 29th at 10:30 am.  Always a great show, come watch – and maybe participate – in a magically fun presentation!

3.  End of Summer Party!  —  Friday, August 1st.      How many books did everyone check out?   Did anyone read the “most” books this summer?  Who Will win the Recycled Robot contest ?   Will Miss Gayle have to dye her hair?  Will Miss Wendy have to kiss goats?   Will Miss Dusk have to EAT crickets?   No one knows until the morning of the 1st  (keep feeding those penny jars !)    Come join in the last big bash of the summer – complete with cotton candy, snow cones, lunch and new games!!!!!

It’s hard for us to believe that summer is coming to an end.  We thank all of you for coming out — don’t forget, we still have more crafts, more legos to build and more stories to read!   See you at YOUR library!!!!
