National Library Week is Just Around The Bend!

Next week, the Blair Public Library will celebrate National Library Week!  Come to one or all of the events listed below!   Celebrate your library!  All events are sponsored by the Friends of the Blair Public Library.   Not a Friend yet?   Stop by the front desk and sign up!

April 11th-April 16th:  Food For Fines and food drive.  This applies to late fines, not to lost materials.    (don’t have fines?  bring some food anyway!)

April 11th – 16th:  ” What You Would Love in the New Library” survey

April 11th – 16th:  Take a chance to win a Library Friend (stuffed of course!)

April 11th:  Story Time; subject – Libraries!  10:30 am

April 12th : Patron Appreciation Day – cookies, coffee and punch throughout the day

April 12th:  Pajama Story time!  6:30 pm  (stories, craft and a snack!)

April 12th:  Word Game Club – 12:30 pm

April 13th:  National Library Worker’s Day

April 13th: WCGS: Speaker, Charlotte Endorf – “Always on Target, Adventurous Annie.”
Humanities Nebraska speaker 2:00 @ the library!

April 13th:  Young Readers (early literacy) 10:30 am

April 14th – 16th :  Book Sale!  25 cents a book, $3.00 a bag, $5.00 a box for smaller boxes, $10 a box for larger boxes.

April 14th:  Little Art Masters  10:30

April 14th:  Celebrate Library Volunteers Day!

April 14th:  Lego Club   4:00 p.m.

April 14th :  End of  Coloring Contest, prizes/winners announced, and dinner celebration at Runza!  Come support the Friends of the Blair Library; as a  portion of the nights receipts will go to the Friends!  5:00 – 8:00 pm
