NEW FIXTURE AT LIBRARY
A NEW LOOK AT THE LIBRARY
Matthew Schwab chose for his Eagle Scout project a unique and interesting service to the entire community: an American flag disposal box placed in front of the Blue Hill Public Library. Matt thought the library would be a perfect place to have this because it is on our main street, is well lighted and is easily accessible. Flags that are worn and unusable can be placed in the secure box and will be properly disposed of by the Scouts in a flag burning ceremony once a year. Matthew is an eighth grade student at Blue Hill Schools and has been a Scout for several years.
