Buck was published in 1931, it won the Pulitzer Prize  and not been out of print since then.  A modern classic, this novel tells the story of farmer Wang Lung and his wife O-lan.  Set in pre-revolutionary China, a simple man goes through his life with all the cycles of age and the land.
