{"id":21,"date":"2010-08-02T14:01:47","date_gmt":"2010-08-02T19:01:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/libraries.ne.gov\/bluehill\/?page_id=21"},"modified":"2019-08-07T12:43:05","modified_gmt":"2019-08-07T17:43:05","slug":"policies","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/libraries.ne.gov\/bluehill\/about-2\/policies\/","title":{"rendered":"Policies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">LIBRARY CARDS<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px\">There is no charge for an individual library card to residents of the City of Blue Hill.\u00a0 It is also free for all students who attend Blue Hill Community Schools, preschool through 12th grade, even if they are not residents of the Blue Hill Community.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px\">For non residents of the Blue Hill Community, there is an annual fee of $15.00.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px\">A parent or guardian must sign for a child under the age of 12<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 All current card holders are eligible for a free <strong>NebrasKard<\/strong>\u00a0 use at other participating libraries across the state.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>BORROWING<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px\">Books and audios can be borrowed for two weeks<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px\">DVDs can be borrowed for one week<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 Magazines can be borrowed for one week<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px\">Renewals can be requested for material less that 3 months old if no\u00a0reserves are on file<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px\">A fine of five cents a day will be charged for overdue items; movies are charged fifty cents a day for late returns<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">Lost and damaged material will be charged at replacement cost<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>COMPUTER USE<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px\">Two public use computers are available for patrons<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px\">A\u00a0laptop is also available when the\u00a0desktop computers are in use<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px\">Printing is ten cents per page<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px\">Computer use is limited to one hour<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px\">Complete computer use policy is available at the library<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">NON-RESIDENTS<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;text-align: left\">Non-residents of the City of Blue Hill may purchase a family card for an annual fee of $15<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">DONATIONS<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;text-align: left\">Memorial Gifts may be made to the Blue Hill Public Library Friends Foundation<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;text-align: left\">Donations of materials to the Library are used where necessary at the discretion of the Library Director and Board<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">INTER-LIBRARY LOANS<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;text-align: left\">ILL (inter-library loans) or requests from other libraries will be made at no charge beyond $2.50 for return postage<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LIBRARY CARDS There is no charge for an individual library card to residents of the City of Blue Hill.\u00a0 It is also free for all students who attend Blue Hill Community Schools, preschool through 12th grade, even if they are not residents of the Blue Hill Community.
