CCPL Closing Due to COVID-19 Effective March 18

Effective TOMORROW (Wednesday, March 18):
Central City Public Library will be closed until further notice as we join in a community wide effort to curtail the potential spread of COVID-19.

Due dates are being extended until May 1 for all items currently checked out. Fines are being waived through May 1 as well.
Items may be returned to the library via our book drop.

🚗To arrange for curbside pick-up of library materials (20 items or less) from the west entrance of our library, please call (946-2512), email (cc.library.ne@gmail.com), or place the items on hold at: https://ccpl.pioneer.kohalibrary.com/cgi-bin/koha/opac-main.pl  (using your card #). Contact the library for your password).🚗

Free WiFi will continue to be available to users, around the exterior of our building. The parking stalls in front of the building, on north side of building, and the stalls in our parking lot, will all be available for people to park in, to use while accessing WiFi. Contact library staff for password.

During this time, cardholders are encouraged to take advantage of online resources such as:
✔️Nebraska OverDrive https://nebraska.overdrive.com/
✔️Libby App (Download Libby on the AppStore or Get It On Google Play). Call library staff during normal business hours at 308-946-2512 for your current library card number and PIN # (to access OverDrive/Libby).
✔️Our online collections: area newspaper archives, yearbooks, and local history collection. These all may be accessed through our website at: http://libraries.ne.gov/centralcity/

Additional announcements will follow once the library is able to re-open.
Thank you so much for your understanding during this time!😊
