In High Jinx by Shannon Esposito, Elle Pressley is a doga (doggie yoga) instructor on Moon Key, a getaway for the very rich. Invited to a party by one of her clients, Elle finds the hanged body of the owner in the kitchen. When a maid is arrested for the deed, Elle’s detective boyfriend is asked to help solve the murder. Since he is busy trying to solve the murder of his own parents, Elle is drafted to the do sleuthing. Tight plotting (I did not see the ending coming), likeable characters and a stunning setting make this a series to read and enjoy!
