On Tuesday, January 22, 2019, the Culbertson Library is hosting a program in relation to winter depression and how to take care of your “whole” self in the winter. It will be held at the Culbertson Library at 612 Wyoming Street from 1:00-2:30 p.m. Nancy Frecks, Hitchcock Co. Extension Agent, will present first, followed by Kelly Tirrill from Common Scents Greenhouse in McCook. Kelly will address the benefits of having live plants in your home in the winter, the operations out at the greenhouse, and a hands on planting of succulents will follow. Plants, pots, and potting soil will be provided by the library. Library Director, Connie McCoy will share information about the overall benefits of reading to your health and well-being, and share all of the services offered by the library besides checking out books and DVDS. Refreshments will be served. Please call the library at 308-278-2135 to pre-register by Saturday, January 19 or stop in at the library as well. Hope to see you there!
