JUNE 2013

Hey everyone!  A busy big month this has been at our library.  Story hour ha come to an end and we had a lot of fun and a great turn out!  A better group of kids and helpers could not have been found!  You guys Rock, can’t wait till next year!

We are gearing up for the big 4th of July celebration and are looking forward to another fund raiser for our new library.  We will be offering walking taco’s, drink and cookies as a combination meal or individually at the 4-H Ag Building at the Fairgrounds following the parade.  All proceeds go to the construction of the new library.  We have only been able to raise a little over $5,000 towards our goal of $50,000, in order to meet the Great Plains Communication Challenge.  Without meeting this goal we will lose $25,000 that is incredibily important to the success of the new library.  So please spread the word and dig deep.  I know times are hard for everyone, but even those little bills add up.  A Big Thank You to our previous K-Store and now Eagle patrons, our jar there continues to collect change that does add up too!  Also a Big thank you out to Frenchman Valley for a donation of a window air conditioner when ours broke down.  We really appreciate it, with this heat.

We are busy getting a float ready for the 4th of July celebration too!  So watch out of us!  Our kids will be handing candy out and $5 off coupons from the Christian Book Store with 10% of sales coming to the new library.

Please continue to follow us here or on our facebook page.  Happy Independance Day!
