The Library is open!

We have officially opened Monday-Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm, as with everything these days, we have to open in a special way. We are working hard to make sure both staff and patrons are safe, and apologize in advance for any inconvenience the new restrictions may cause.

We will be open 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Thursday. No Saturday hours will be available until July.

BYOM. Bring Your Own Mask. Mask use is highly recommended.

Patrons will enter through the front entrance and check in at the front desk. We can only allow 20 people in the building at a time, so we will check you in and out.

Social distancing is required.

Patrons are encouraged to limit their stay to 20 minutes so others may use the facility. No newspapers will be available.

Areas are designated for checking out materials, and patrons will scan and handle their own items.

Four patron computers will be available for 50 minute sessions each. These computers are for patrons 18 years of age and older. Plastic gloves are available for use. Hand washing or hand sanitizing is required, if not using gloves.

Children not yet in middle school should be accompanied by a parent or other adult guardian.

The children’s library is undergoing some exciting renovations, and will be closed until completed. Call ahead, and we will gather the books you want and have them ready to go. Email Lucy at youth.hruska.library@gmail.com with book requests or questions about the virtual Summer Reading program.

No public restrooms will be available.

Returned materials will be checked in after being in quarantine for a week. Please return materials to the outdoor book drop even if entering the building.

The cart of free books will be available by the east door once again. These books are donated or discarded items, and are yours to keep! We do not want them back.
