February Has Been Busy!

February has been a busy month at the library.    On Friday, February 10th,  six preschool children were treated to a Valentine scavenger hunt.  The hearts they found were then made into necklaces.  Following the scavenger hunt they enjoyed a story entitled “The Valentine Mice”.   To top off the morning the preschool children were given a Valentine treat from Mrs. Gunderson and Mrs. Bode.  Then on February 13, we visited St. Boniface first and second graders for a story and Valentine craft.

Book Club will be held on February 22, at 4:00.  They will be discussing The Pilot’s Wife.

New books in the library are Into the Firestorm by Kat Martin and Echoes in Death:  An Eve Dallas Novel by J.D. Robb.

Blind Date With a Book

Are you ready for a blind date with a book?  In celebration of Valentine’s Day the library is playing matchmaker.  Between now and Valentine’s Day, select your “date” from the display of specially wrapped books, check it out and then take it home and unwrap it.  Hopefully, it is love at first sight.
