The “brain” was the topic for activity time on July 6, 2017. Krystal Carr from the Antelope County Extension Office presented the activity to 11 children. After reading the book entitled Ideas All Around Krystal quizzed the kids on the brain. They discussed things such as the size of the brain, the left and right sides of the brain and their functions. They also talked about concussions. The kids were then given “a brain” and various materials to design and build something to protect it.
