Book Club

The Elmwood-Murdock Book Club had its first trial meeting in January. With so much interest and high participation numbers, the group went ahead and set another meeting for Monday, March 2 at 6:30pm.

This month’s book selection is Alex Kava’s “One False Move.” Alex Kava is a popular mystery/thriller author who grew up in Silver Creek, Nebraska, and now divides her time between Omaha and Pensacola, Florida. This novel was chosen in 2006 as the subject for “One Book, One Nebraska.”

“One False Move” is a psychological thriller about the fallout from an abortive bank robbery. Melanie Starks and her seventeen year-old son get talked into helping her ex-con brother pull-off the heist. Now they’re on the run and there’s nothing to lose.

Read the book and come to the meeting on March 2 to discuss the book among friends in a casual and friendly setting. Anyone and everyone is welcome!

For those wishing to check-out the book, contact the library to see if they have any copies to loan!
