{"id":239,"date":"2018-11-07T20:54:21","date_gmt":"2018-11-07T20:54:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/libraries.ne.gov\/exeter\/?page_id=239"},"modified":"2021-08-11T17:45:21","modified_gmt":"2021-08-11T17:45:21","slug":"library-policies","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/libraries.ne.gov\/exeter\/library-policies\/","title":{"rendered":"Library Policies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Library Loan Policy:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Book Fines: $0.10 cents a day shall be charged for an overdue book<br \/>\nDVD Fines: $1.00 a day shall be charged for every day a movie is not returned<\/p>\n<p>This is how overdue notices work on all materials:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>1st Notice: You will receive a phone call reminder.<\/li>\n<li>2nd Notice: You will receive a letter with the date the material needs to be returned. Fines will continue to accrue if the material is not returned.<\/li>\n<li>3rd Notice: If material is not back by the date designated on the letter, a fine must be paid.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The fine stops if a book or material is reported as lost. Within a reasonable time frame, the patron must pay a replacement cost for the lost item.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Computer Use Policy:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Internet may be used by library card holders.<\/li>\n<li>Parents or guardians are responsible for the internet information selected or accessed by their children. Library or other staff are not responsible for monitoring any content viewed by patrons.<\/li>\n<li>Parents need to sign a permission slip for children to use the computer on their own.<\/li>\n<li>AWE computer is available on a first come, first served basis.
