Virtual Citizen Science Expo at the Library in April

April is Citizen Science Month!

To celebrate, we have partnered with Oklahoma State University, the Spotty Rain Campaign, Blue Thumb, CoCoRaHS, and the South East Oklahoma Library System to bring you a Virtual Citizen Science Expo from April 3rd through April 27th at the Holdrege Area Public Library or you can stop by during these dates to find out how to access the Expo from your own home!

Stop by the library to check out the front table display starting April 3rd, to join in the virtual expo to explore different educational and interactive rooms on different topics on a few of our computers we will have set up. There will be time frames when you will be able to chat live with real scientists as well! Meet real scientists in a virtual world. Learn how to volunteer to help scientists solve real-world problems. More information will be coming soon for the times that the scientists will be available for chatting and questions! We will have information available at the library and online if you would like to participate from home as well.

Stay tuned to see what else we will have to offer during Citizen Science Month at the Holdrege Area Public Library!
