This week April 10th-16th is NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK.
First sponsored in 1958, 53 years ago, National Library week is an annual celebration of the contributions of our nation’s libraries and librarians. All types of libraries – school, public, academic and special – participate. We are celebrating all month long with our events for adults and children AND we currently have a large selection of used books we are selling for just 4 for $1.00! Come in and take a look! I will keep adding new titles to the cart too so check back if you don’t see anything you like the first time!
We’d also like to encourage you to sign up for a library card if you do not have one. These are available free of charge to all patrons in the Logan View district.
This week I am super excited to have Hooper elementary students coming for mini-field trips to the library in honor of National Library Week. We also have several other events planned this month.

Our Bake Sale last week was a huge success! Thank-you to Bev Thomsen and all Friends of the Library for your contributions of baked goods and for those patrons who purchased them. The proceeds will help fund the Summer Reading Program. Watch for details on that to come. This year’s theme is “One World, Many Stories”
