We are hoping to fill the space beneath our Christmas tree at the Library. \u00a0With your help we think we can do it!\u00a0 Here\u2019s how:<\/p>\n
The Hooper Public Library is sponsoring a Food Drive for the Holiday Season.\u00a0 Now through Christmas Eve bring in a donation of a canned or boxed non-perishable food item and if you happen to have a fine due at the Library we will forgive that fine!\u00a0\u00a0 If you don\u2019t have a fine due you may choose from our selection of used books as a Thank-you for your contribution.\u00a0<\/p>\n
We are also hoping to put new<\/em> books into the hands of children for Christmas.\u00a0 Bring in a NEW unwrapped children or teen book, or purchase one from our new selection, and we will gift wrap it and indicate the appropriate age level.\u00a0 The library will not profit on books sold for the drive and all donations will go to the Faith Food Pantry for distribution to families in need.<\/p>\n There\u2019s nothing like your very own brand-new book!\u00a0 Let\u2019s put many smiles on the faces of children this Christmas by giving the gift of reading!<\/p>\n We are also excited to be participating in the Main Street Extravaganza going on Sunday December 5th<\/sup> in Hooper.
