Howells Public Library is located in NE Colfax County and the library was officially established in December or 1826.
We are currently accredited at Silver Status.
We offer a collection of over 8800 fiction and nonfiction/reference titles and about have 1080 patrons.
The library board holds meetings monthly and is certified through the Nebraska Library Commission.
