Sisters, Marci and Teresa give voice to women’s unique roles during the western movement. The sisters incorporate narrative poetry, music and props creating an educational and entertaining presentation.
The women highlighted include:
*mothers who save their families from financial ruin
*a barmaid who becomes a respected member of the community
*an outlaw’s wife

The Madison Public Library is giving away seeds again. This year the library is cooperating with the Madison Community Chest to provide seeds and plants at no cost to you!
If you are feeling particularly brave, ignore the frost advisory and plant today. Spring is here, and the seeds of Madison are ready to grow!
On the fourth Wednesday of January, libraries and book lovers share selfies with bookshelves.
This tradition started in 2014, and this year marks the fifth Library Shelfie Day.

Say yes to Lori’s Quilt Class!
The Madison Public Library will be hosting a quilting class on Wednesday, January 30th at 5:00 to 7:00pm. There is a $15.00 fee for materials. If you have any questions please call 402-454-3500. Lori will instruct beginners in making table runners.
What should we do with all these old books?
