We have 6 public access computers that are available to use during our construction. We are anxious to see how the new faster speed is working.  Stop at the front desk for details on how to use our computers.

Remember we are under construction, if you need help finding anything, please ask one of the staff.

Summer Reading Program Ending

As our summer reading program comes to an end this week, the elevator construction will be reviving up!  The Public will not be allowed downstairs during this part of the construction; however, any staff member will be glad to go down to find your books for you.

Check Out the Book Sale Carts!!!!!

Have you noticed the carts sitting when you walk in the door of the library? These are our book  sale books, dvds, and cassettes and cd books. These items have been weeded from our collection or donated to the library.

We check donations against our collection and if the copy is nicer looking, then we switch them out  or even add them to our collection. If it is something that we can not use then they are put on the carts for sale going to the McCook Public Library Foundation.

Remember us when you are cleaning out your book shelves or after your yard sale. We take adult and children’s books. magazines, cd books, well about anything.

Please check out these carts when coming to the library. Items are added to the carts all the time.

We also take craft items to be used with various children’s programs.
