Summer Reading Program 2019

Theme:  Universe of Stories


This summer, our community is invited to explore a Universe of Stories.  Our program details are being finalized so check back for more information.

The Nebraska Library Commission is a member of the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP), a nation-wide organization of libraries that works to provide high-quality summer reading program options.

Save the date!  Summer Reading Program begins on Friday, May 31st through July 13th,  at the Library.  One program at 10:30 a.m. is designed for children ages 0-6 years and another program at 1:30 p.m. is geared for children ages 7 years of age and older.  Either age group can attend either session, however, the afternoon session is geared more to the older children with a little more advanced experiments or material offered.  Everyone is welcome and it’s all Free! 

NEW THIS YEAR is our TEEN and TWEEN Program held each Wednesday, at 1:30 p.m.,  beginning June 5th through July 10th.  It should be a lot of fun – and you guessed it — it’s free!


We also host a Saturday Summer Reading Program event held each week through from June 1st through Saturday, July 13th. Hosted by Katy Reznicek and geared toward ages 0-5 years old.  Saturday Events begin at 10:30 a.m. 

Sign up begins Tuesday, May 28th at the library.
