Summer Reading Program 2018

Theme:  Libraries Rock!


This summer, our community is invited to see the many ways that our World Rocks!. We will explore how Rocks Rock, Nebraska Rocks, Exercise Rocks, Painting Rocks and our favorite how Water Rocks!

The Nebraska Library Commission is a member of the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP), a nation-wide organization of libraries that works to provide high-quality summer reading program options.

Save the date!  Summer Reading Program begins on Friday, June 1st through July 14th,  at the Library.  One program at 10:30 a.m. is designed for children ages 0-6 years and another program at 1:30 p.m. is geared for children ages 7 years of age and older.  Either age group can attend either session, however, the afternoon session is geared more to the older children with a little more advanced experiments or material offered.  Everyone is welcome and it’s all Free! 


And NEW this year…we will also have a Saturday Summer Reading Program event held each week through Saturday, July 14th. Hosted by Katy Reznicek and geared toward ages 0-5 years old.  Saturday Events begin at 10:30 a.m. 

Sign up begins Tuesday, May 29th at the library.
