Nebraska state arborist, Chrissy Land, will assist with our tree planting ceremony and share all the wonders our beautiful trees have to offer.

In honor of National Ag Week, March 21 – 27, Palisade Public Library is hosting a “Thank a Farmer” celebration. All ages welcomed!

Join the fun on Wednesday, March 24th @ 4:30 PM in the Palisade Public Library.

When you attend you will receive a free activity book and coloring page, create a “Living Necklace,” and enjoy hot-buttery popcorn for a snack.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Palisade Public Library is celebrating with a story time, holiday-themed snacks and craft activities for young readers.

The Palisade Public Library is proud to announce their new Library Director, Elle Thompson. Elle relocated from Colorado and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge. A former Language Arts instructor and mental health professional, Elle now spends her time writing the children book series, Leland Learns, which stars an adventurous and curious, Weimaraner.

New library hours: Monday and Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

A Huge Thank You to everyone for making my time here at the Palisade Public Library a dream job!  I have never felt so welcome and a part of a community like you have all done for me here.  I will miss this beautiful place more than I can express.  Definitely happy days have been spent here and I will miss you all!

Thank you for all of those who took the time out of there busy days to stop in and wish me well in my retirement.  Who ever they find to replace me, I hope to see the library continue to grow by leaps and bounds.
