May 1 – May Day

May 4 – Registration begins for the summer reading program – Every Hero Has a Story!

May 9 – District OR1 Graduation Day

May 10 – Mother’s Day *Bring your mother to the library for a special treat!

May 11 – Book Club will meet at 2:00 P.M. to discuss the book – The Bible Salesman

May 13 – Free blood pressure check at the library from 5 – 6:00 P.M.

May 15 – Movie Night – Doors open at 6:30 and movie begins at 7:00 P.M. Register for the 2015 Summer Reading Program – Every Hero Has a Story!

May 17 – Story Time – Join us at 4:00 P.M. for a “buggy” story time.

May 18 – Kid’s Book Club will meet at 4:00 P.M. to discuss the book – Swindle.

May 21 – Last day of school for District OR1 students.

May 25 – Memorial Day – The library will be closed.

*Beginning each Monday in June from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. the library will be offering a special program for children four to eight years of age. The program is called Makerspaces and we will be using LEGOs for each session. Children will hear a story and then be challenged to create an object that goes with the story. Space will be limited to eight children due to the nature of the program and the size of the library.
