Summer Reading Runs June 3rd – July 15th

Pick up packets and crafts at Library

Please bring logs in when completed for prizes.

Summer Reading Dates for 2020

Summer Reading will be held June 3rd, 10th and 17th, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.

snacks and drinks, crafts, entertainment. Fun for all ages!

Holiday Craft Fair to be held December 7th

Library Fall Tour

Join us for the Library Fall Tour – Sept. 28th, meet at library at 8:30 am. to travel to Wessels Living History Farm near York!

$5.00 per person.

Please sign up at the library by September 24th. Hope to see you there! Carpooling available.

 

Author Event – Ashli Brehm August 1st

Please join us Thursday, August 1st at 6:30 at the Plymouth Community Center for a meal of street tacos and book signing by author Ashli Brehm. Books available for purchase.

Ashli is a native of Wilber, Nebraska. All proceeds will go to beast cancer charities. Hope to see you there!

A Universe of Stories Runs from May 15th – June 26th

Please sign up by June 7th!

  • All ages are encouraged to take part in Summer Reading 2019, categories and prizes for Pre-school, K – 6th, Teen and Adult.

Events are for Grades K – 4th only

@ Plymouth Auditorium – Event schedule:

June 5th 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm – “Look to the Sky Lift up a Song”  with Aaron Fowler & Bella

June 12th10:00 am – 11:30 pm

June 19th – 10:00 am – Plymouth Fire Dept. tour

June 26th 10:00 am – 11:30 pm

All events are held at Plymouth Auditorium

All Summer Reading activities include snacks, games and fun

Please note: Children’s Toddler/preschool Storytime is on break until August.

Summer Reading Program events:

June 5th, 1:00 PM – Aaron Fowler & his dog, Bella – “Look to the Sky – Lift Up A Song” Program
June 12th – 10:00 am
June 19th – 10:00 am
June 26th – 10:00 am (all Summer Reading Program events held at the Plymouth Community Center.)

 

The benefits to readers in a summer reading program include:
• encouragement that reading become a lifelong habit
• reluctant readers can be drawn in by the activities
• reading over the summer helps children keep their skills up
• the program can generate interest in the library and books

Library Open House

Library Open House April 10th

Please stop in to the library on Wednesday, April 10th for our annual open house, 4:00 – 6:00 pm. Lots of food and fun. Celebrate National Library Week = Libraries build communities.
