Overdrive to your website.\u00a0 This time, we&#8217;ll see how to use some of the widgets built into Jetpack to add Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks to your site.\u00a0 First, you need to make sure that your Jetpack plugin is connected.\u00a0 If you log onto your Dashboard and see this\u2014<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/libraries.ne.gov\/projectblog\/files\/2015\/10\/1jetpack.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1935\" src=\"http:\/\/libraries.ne.gov\/projectblog\/files\/2015\/10\/1jetpack-300x186.jpg\" alt=\"Please Connect Jetpack\" width=\"300\" height=\"186\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2014it is not connected.\u00a0 But it&#8217;s easy to fix.\u00a0 Just click the <strong>Connect Jetpack <\/strong>button.\u00a0 You&#8217;ll then go to a screen that allows you to enter your WordPress username and password.\u00a0 This is not the same username and password that you use to access your site.\u00a0 If you don&#8217;t already have a WordPress username, you should click <strong>Need an Account?<\/strong> and create one.\u00a0 After all that&#8217;s done, enter your credentials to connect Jetpack.\u00a0 Once you do, you can go to Appearance\u2014&gt;Widgets and see a much longer list of options.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, weather widgets, and more are all right here.\u00a0 All that you need to do is hover over the widget you want, click on your mouse, and drag the widget over to the right while keeping your mouse button pressed down.\u00a0 If you&#8217;ve played Solitaire on a computer, it&#8217;s pretty much the same motion you use to move cards around.\u00a0 The animated image below shows you how to move the Facebook widget over.\u00a0 We scroll down to Facebook, click it, drag it, and put it where it needs to go.\u00a0 I chose to put this widget at the top of the list.\u00a0 Once it&#8217;s there, a new box opens up that allows me to enter the URL of the Facebook page to which I want to connect.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/libraries.ne.gov\/projectblog\/files\/2015\/10\/fbwidget.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1933\" src=\"http:\/\/libraries.ne.gov\/projectblog\/files\/2015\/10\/fbwidget.gif\" alt=\"Facebook Widget\" width=\"638\" height=\"409\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As always, if something is giving you problems or you can&#8217;t find the right widget for what you want to do, please give me a call or send me an <a href=\"mailto:craig.lefteroff@nebraska.gov\" target=\"_blank\">email<\/a>!\u00a0 Thanks for reading!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the last post, I talked about using text widgets to add links to services like Tumblr &amp;
