The Rock County Public Library now has free downloadable Kindle e-books available through OverDrive. Downloads for other e-book devices have been available since November 2010, but now Kindle e-books are available. All of the e-books we currently have, with a few exceptions, will be available for Kindle which includes almost 2,000 titles downloadable at the Rock County Public Library. You can check out a Kindle e-book and other e-book and audio books available on other compatible devices by going to the library website at http://libraries.ne.gov/rockcounty and clicking on the download audio books and e-books icon on the left side. We suggest you then read through the OverDrive guides to get started. You will have to sign in by selecting the Rock County Public Library from the drop-down box and enter your library card number. Find the book you want, assuming it’s not checked out, and click on “Add to eCart” next to the Kindle version of the title.
