O Pioneers! by Nebraska author, Willa Cather, has been selected for the 2013 One Book One Nebraska title. Nebraska marks its ninth year of One Book One Nebraska, selecting and promoting a title for Nebraska citizens to read to celebrate the literary richness of our state. Nebraska libraries and other literary and cultural organizations statewide plan activities and events to encourage all Nebraskans to read and discuss the same book. The adult book discussion has selected the title for their March discussion with hopes of securing a special speaker sometime this spring for discussion of the book. Residents are encouraged to read this title and join us for this event.
