The Rock County Public Library Foundation, Inc., is a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization incorporated in June 1993 to provide citizens with an opportunity to improve the library collection and technology resources for use by the people of Rock County. Some of the Rock County Foundation projects include matching grant funds for library automation; purchasing individual books; purchasing library furniture; matching grant funds for technology, including computers, a digital camera, a scanner, a copy machine, and an AV television; updating the selection of children’s books; and providing exterior lighting.
Donations of $100 or more given in honor or in memory of a person will entitle the honoree’s name to be engraved on the Foundation plaque in the library. To honor a special couple’s anniversary, a birthday, or a memory of someone, please consider a donation to the Rock County Public Library Foundation, Inc. Donations received are tax-deductible and will be used exclusively in the Rock County Public Library. The Foundation has a separate board of directors and will purchase specific library materials or equipment with recommendations from staff and individual donors.
