The Rock County Public Library is an accredited library open 36 hours per week.  The collection has approximately 17,000 books, 28,744 electronic books, 22 electronic-licensed databases, 31 magazine and newspaper subscriptions, 771 audio materials, and 494 video materials.   Other materials include cake pans, board games, puzzles, and multiple Makerspace items!

The services and activities include five public-access computers with free one-hour Internet training, wireless public Internet connection, interlibrary loan service for materials not owned by the library, preschool story hours, an adult book discussion group September through May, summer reading program, online reference databases and eBooks, continuing education classes, distribution center for tax forms, guest storytellers/presenters, free downloadable Overdrive eBooks and audio books for county residents, and one-on-one help finding library materials and answers to your reference questions.
