Our Little Girl
In Memory Of Jessie-Mae Lynn Villa
I touch my stomach but I already know,
The little baby that was once that was once there,
Will no longer have a life of her own, to grow
I cry silently, but there’s no way anyone can tell,
Just how much losing your little girl hurts.
At times you just feel like you need to yell.
You get teary eyed as you walk through the store,
It’s hard to see all the baby toys and clothes.
And your heart aches while you know it will be forever sore.
It’s sad how a child can form and disappear,
She wasn’t even full term.
She should still have a few days before she got here.
One day when we have another child to hold,
We’ll tell them of the short life we had with their sister.
We’ll tell them all the sweet stories that they should be told.
How Mommy and Daddy loved her with all their heart,
How we wished she could have survived more than a few weeks.
How we wish in this family she would have had a longer part.
But she’ll be with us forever and always,
Not physically, but in our hearts.
She’ll be with us all through everyday.
When we laugh she be there,
When we cry she’ll soothe us.
We’ll be reminded that she’s better off than she would be here.

What does sister mean
For Wilma…
What does sister mean
I’ve heard it in a dream
Is it a fairy tale or a joke
Seems everyday I’ve heard it spoke
Does it mean love for always
Or does the meaning go deeper some days
Like die or bleed for at any cost
Would you merely be nothing if they were lost
Now I know
Know matter how much noise
They are sister by chance, friends by choice
