Computer Classes Scheduled

Classes are open to Colfax County residents and those who hold a Schuyler Public Library Card. Minimum class size is 4. Maximum class size is 10.  Registration is required. The Library reserves the right to cancel the class for insufficient registration. 

Introductory Computer Class

June, 8, 15, 22, 29 2011    8:30 – 10:00am

Attendees need to know how to use a computer mouse.  Class content will include an overview of parts of the computer and terminology including: desktop, scrolling, clicking, and keying (typing).  Questions to ask when buying a computer will also be covered.

Summer Reading Program Registration May 18th, 2011

Knitting, Crochet, n’ More May 17th, 2011

The first meeting of the Knitting, Crochet, n’ More group was held last night.  Four people enjoyed visiting and sharing their skills.   These informal meetings are open to all ages.  Bring your projects to work on and learn from and help others.  Meetings will be held this summer on June 6th and 20th, July 18, and August 1st and 15th.  Meeting time will be 5:30-6:30 pm.

May 18, 25 and June 1, 2011    8:30 – 10:00am – Introductory Computer Class, part II 

Attendees need to know how to use a computer mouse. Navigating tool bars will be covered as well as Internet and e-mail basics. As time allows, student requests will be added to material that will be covered and discussed.
