Khan Academy: Free leveled readers for grades 1-12.

Fact Monster – All About Books: This fun site has all kinds of games and facts about books for grades K-12.

Storyline Online: Developed by The Screen Actors Guild Foundation, Storyline Online features accomplished actors and actresses reading some of their favorite children’s books. 

Online Storytime: Online Storytime has popular children’s books read out loud.

The Nebraska Golden Sower: a children’s choice award given annually to authors and illustrators as determined by the votes of thousands of school-age readers from across Nebraska. 


Goodreads: A social cataloging website where you can search its enormous database of books, annotations, quotes, and reviews. You can sign up and create your own library catalogs and reading lists, book groups, book suggestions, surveys, polls, blogs, and discussions.

What Should I Read Next: Enter a book you like and the site will analyze their huge database of real readers’ favorite books to provide book recommendations and suggestions for what to read next.
