The Shelby Community Library is offering a Summer Reading Contest to the children (preschool though high school).  To encourage them to read for pleasure during the summer and to retain their reading skills.  This year’s theme is Dig Into Reading!  All reading contest sheets are due into the library by 12 Noon, Monday, July 8, 2013. Everyone entering the summer reading contest will be awared a prize at the Reading Party on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 10 am to 11 am at the Shelby Park under the large shelter.  For more information call or stop by the library for details.
