Reminders for you!

What a blowsy, breezy day!  As we welcome in March, here’s what’s blowing into the library!  From 1 March to 1 May, we’re holding our 1st Annual Book Sale.  Books and magazines will be on sale during library opening hours.  Hardcover books are priced at .75, paperbacks are .25, and magazines are .15!  If you have ‘gently loved’ books or magazines you’d like to donate for the sale, please bring them into the library during normal opening hours, or place them in the drop box at your convenience.  All proceeds go for new bookcases; we appreciate your support and help in advance!  On Saturday, 5 March, the Snyder Library is hosting a “Celebrate Seuss!” party in the auditorium from 1 – 3 p.m.  We will have a great story, some light snacks, and of course, a good time!  Hope to see you all here for that.  And finally for March, we are kicking off our “Spring Fling with a Book!” event.  This will run from 20 March to 21 June.  The event is open for ages 14 and over.  It is very simple – come into the library and register; the more books you read, the more chances you have to win the prize!  Whoever reads the most books, wins!  It’s that simple.  There is only one prize and it is a pretty darn good one, too!  You check out the books you want to read, I keep track.  So, it is a busy month for us here, and we hope you will make us a part of your busy March schedule.  We’ll see you soon, right here at your Snyder Library!
