Loads of fun, and loads of fun, what loads of fun we had! And if you missed our party, that is just so sad!!! We did have a wonderful time at our annual Dr. Seuss party on 5 March at the auditorium! Our story was Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You? and we had a great time acting out all the sounds including a tuba, a butterfly, and rain. We had great games, and obviously great Cat-in-the-Hat snacks to go with it! Every year we celebrate this extraordinary children’s author who still, 112 years later, can enchant young and old readers alike with his rhyming stories. If you didn’t make it this year to our celebration, I hope you can be here for the next one! Along with our Celebration of Seuss in March, we also have our 1st Annual Book Sale underway during library opening hours. There is a huge selection of both fiction and non fiction, and some great magazines. Stop by and see what we have; the sale runs through 1 May.
