Story Time and Spring Things

1-Story Time 19 APR 16Well, what a great Story Time we had last week!  Our story was the beautifully illustrated  book Nora’s Ark by Natalie Kinsey-Warnock.  It is the true story of the 1927 Vermont Flood; a story of hope, survival, and good neighbors.  Our craft was making rain sticks, and I do believed they worked!!!  Look at all that rain we had this past week (after Tuesday, I might add!) and more to come today!  Marlene made great cookies and we had a wonderful time.  Our next Story Time is May 17, come and see what we’ve got going on!  A few reminders for you…our Book Sale ends a week from today – so come and browse.  We have all genres and great magazines; yours for extremely low prices!  And remember, all proceeds are for new bookcases for our little library.  Also, don’t forget our “Spring Fling With a Book” is going on through the 1st day of Summer.  Snyder patrons can come in and register for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to Applebee’s in Fremont; stop by the library for more details. Well, Spring is here, the flowers are blooming and I hope you have a new lift in your step and hope in your heart for a great summer.  Don’t forget to come and see what we’ve got in books and movies for those rainy Spring days, right here at your Snyder Library!
