“Preschool Story Time” A New Event At The Spalding Public Library!!

Spalding Public Library’s “Preschool Story Time” began last Thursday, with nine children in attendance and their parents. The theme was, “Farm Animals” and the group had fun listening to a story about a big red barn and the animals that live on a farm. All enjoyed new songs and finger plays about farm animals. Heidi McManaman has graciously volunteered to help out with the library’s “Preschool Story Time” each Thursday from 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. This program is designed for children ages 3-5 with an accompanying adult. But older and younger siblings are welcome to come and enjoy each week’s thirty- minute themed session that may include finger plays, music, and an easy craft. A story will also be read aloud to the group of children. Adults are needed to help their children with these activities and in checking out library books!! If you have any questions, please call or stop by the library. We hope to see you each Thursday!! The theme for this week is FROGS!!
