OverDrive is an online collection of audiobooks and eBooks available to patrons for check out. eBooks are compatible with most popular devices and many may be downloaded directly to the device without the use of the computer. Audiobook files must first be downloaded to the user’s computer before transferring to a compatible device.
To set up your account with OverDrive you will need your library card number. If you don’t have your library card, please call the library at (402) 764-7681 and one of the librarians will help you.
Begin using OverDrive by clicking the “Getting Started” tab on the left hand side of the page. You can check the “Device Resource Center” to make sure that your device is supported by OverDrive, then learn how to use OverDrive by clicking the “OverDrive Help” button. This is the most valuable tool on the site.

Items will never become overdue or accumulate late fees. When an item expires, you simply will not be able to read or listen to it anymore. Items cannot be renewed. If no one is waiting for the item, you could check it out again.
