New Program – Saturday Matinee

On Saturday, September 17th from 1:00pm – 3:00pm (approximately), the library will host a Saturday Matinee movie showing of PG rated “Remember the Titans”. This event is free and open to the public and will be held in the downstairs meeting room of the library. Popcorn will be provided to all guests.

We hope to make this a reoccurring event to be held on the 3rd Saturday of every month. Keep checking back for more information!

Are you an energetic, organized, and dynamic person who loves working with people of all ages? The Tekamah Public Library is looking for you!

We have an opening for a part-time library assistant (approximately 15-20 hours per week). The right person must be able to work a flexible schedule. Monday through Friday the library is open from 10am-7pm and Saturdays we are open from 9am-4pm. 

Education and Experience:

1. High School Diploma (minimum)

2. Previous job experience working in a related field is highly desired.

3. Previous library work experience preferred but not required. 

4. Keyboarding and computer experience desired. 

Hourly wages are determined by the library board depending on education and experience.

Photography Workshop by DT Photography-

Join us at the library on Wednesday, July 27th from 6:30pm-7:30pm for an Introduction to Photography workshop hosted by Tekamah’s own DT Photography! Registration is required for this event.
