Join us for our Annual Meeting!
The Annual Meeting will take place on 1 August 2019 from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm at Wayne State College. Sign up at http://bit.ly/TRaiLSAnnual if you’d like to attend in person.
The program includes two sessions:
- The first is Allie Stevens’ presentation on The Power of Small: How Rural Libraries Help Communities. Allie is the librarian and director of a museum in a southern Arkansas county. She has also presented on WebJunction and her presentation will be energizing and uplifting.
- A second presentation will be a panel of librarians, county extension, and economic development staff. The panel will be discussing the library’s role in community economic development and how the library helps to enhance a community’s quality of life.
After the morning presentations, please stay for lunch. While having lunch, we will have the Three Rivers Library System annual business meeting, the director’s report, board elections, review the budget, and conduct other needed business. There will be a $15 fee for lunch.
For those who will not be able to join us in person, the presentations and Annual Meeting will be available on Zoom, but there’s no need to sign up, the link will be available at the Three Rivers Library System website.
