Join us on January 5 at 6:30 p.m. when world traveler John Niemoth takes us on a “virtual” trip to Africa. His talk will be punctuated with colorful photos and interesting artifacts from his travels.

The program is free and open to all ages!

Microscopes in the Library

Gary Brown and Claire Bushong presented a webinar on December 21 on our science station and microscope kits. AfterSchool Program on Winter Break

Our regular afterschool program is on hold for the next two weeks. The next session will be on January 10th, with more information to come closer to that date.

Our youth services librarian will be visiting Twin Rivers YMCA over winter break, so kids in that program won’t be entirely missing out.

AfterSchool Dec 20

We’ve prepared stories, crafts, and activities around a “Christmas” theme for this week.

Tuesday AfterSchool is offered in partnership with Twin Rivers YMCA and is open to all area elementary school children (under age 8 with supervision). Beginning right after school, the afternoon includes a snack, homework time, programs/activities and unstructured time for reading and play. Formal programming ends before 6 p.m.

Christmas Story Time

Wendy Anderson and special guest SANTA will be at the library at 10:30 on Saturday morning, December 17, with seasonal stories, activities, and snacks! This event is for PreK-2nd Graders and their caregivers. (Parents/caregivers may want to bring cameras.)
