Quarantine Learning Resources

Teacher Vision has a lot of resources for learning at home during quarantine, including tips for setting a schedule and mindfulness tips for children to de-stress!

To break-up the boredom:

Go Noodle: This is something we would do with the AfterSchool kids at the library! These videos with dancing, breathing exercises, and short games will give your kids an opportunity to be active indoors.

Take a virtual field trip.

BreakoutEDU makes Open the Box experiences, which are similar to escape rooms. They also have free online puzzle games which they have compiled for you!

Learning through Landscapes has Facebook groups to help you [safely] enjoy the outdoors!

Marbles Kids Museum has videos of playful ideas you can do at home.

Lastly, Vivify has STEM activities to do at home each day for different age levels; you just need to subscribe to their email list to gain access.

In addition, Omaha Public Library has their own list of awesome resources!
